 This Sunday we will welcome in the New Year by discovering a key word, or image that will provide focus for us this year as we move forward toward living our highest vision. Our White Stone Service is the second part of our New Year experience. With last week's Burning Bowl we identified and released what was holding us back from living more fully. Doing so created space for new possibilities of good to grow. It's now up to us to plant and nurture the new possibility we choose. You will receive a "prayer-infused" White Stone that is yours to keep reminding you of your new focus.

Harnessing the Power of Release - The Burning Bowl Service

The time has finally come to release what has not been working for us this year! Yay!! Of course, those of us on a spiritual path know that it's more about what has not been working within ourselves - internal patterns that keep showing up as situations we have to deal with, and energy that keeps us stuck. This Sunday Rev. Victoria will guide us through an exploration of what might be behind the conditions we would like to leave behind, offer them up in a "prayer of smoke" via our burning bowl, and clear the way for new possibilities of good to emerge for us in 2025!

We may have fond memories of watching children open gifts at the holidays and joyously receive what they really wanted. And we may remember when we were little and opened a shiny, new toy that we had asked for. This Sunday we will also recall the intangible gifts we received from a parent, teacher or friend - something that helped turn on the light within ourselves. After cultivating our Spiritual Self this year, it's time to take the Light you have awakened and go shine -- go light up the world.  It's waiting for you.

As we move toward the Winter Solstice, we are aware both of the sacredness of the dark and the need for light. We divine-beings-having-a-human-experience crave light. We need the sun to survive, of course, but more than that, light reminds us that we are in essence Light Beings.

This Sunday Rev. Victoria looks at the qualities of this Divine Light, where it lives within us, and how to access it and work with it. When we do, we welcome "a complete transmutation of the fabric of our being."

An Abundant Harvest

What a blessing it is that we can all grow and evolve over time. If you've been on a spiritual path for a while, your self-concept changes. You begin to release old views of yourself as unworthy or limited, so that you can embrace a more empowered sense of self. The same can happen with our relationship with prosperity. We can transform our old relationship with prosperity -- one that might be causing an imbalance -- and instead welcome the natural flow of abundance. Join Rev. Victoria this Sunday as we celebrate the abundant harvest that is waiting for us to step into.  

Also, as part of this Sunday's service we will have our Intentional Giving Ceremony. Rev. Victoria will guide you in a meditation centered on gratitude and generosity, and then bless your Intentional Giving Card. So plan to bring your card to the service (but don't worry if you forget it, our Board Host will be there to hand you one.) We will receive all the cards in a sacred bowl, and everyone will be invited to participate in our "chocolate communion."

If what we say is true that "what we focus on and give our energy to expands and multiplies", then let's embrace a vision for a country that reflects what we love about our spiritual community. You will be invited to share your highest vision, and together we will create a vision board for our country.
