Walk As One At One - World Labyrinth Day
World Labyrinth Day is coming up on Saturday May 4th. People from all over the world, and from all walks of life, find a local labyrinth and walk with intentional focus on world peace at 1:00pm local time. Called “Walk as One at One” The idea is to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next. We are hosting a walk in our Spiral Labyrinth on the center’s grounds.
Directly after, we will offer a special guided group walk beginning at 2pm. Kathy King - long-time member and leader of our UCP Outdoor Sacred Spaces gatherings - will lead us in this guided walking meditation with infusion of love and support”. Kathy shares her deep connection with all of our kin in nature and her life-long nature spirituality.
We hope you will join Rev. Chris Nygren and Kathy King for this special global day of walking the labyrinth in meditation. Bring a water bottle and a chair for this event.
Dress for the weather. Meet at the labyrinth a little before 1pm. $10 minimum suggested love offering supports Unity Center of Peace, Chapel Hill, which generously provides our gathering space and programs with the Outdoor Sacred Spaces.
