Most everything that can’t be recycled can be composted. This makes it super easy because you don’t have to think much on what not to include. Here’s a short list of what can be composted:
- fruits and veggies;
- meat, fish and bones;
- eggshells and bread;
- paper towels and napkins;
- coffee grounds, filters, and tea bags
- and many others.
We have relaunched our Earth Care initiative and Composting is our new high impact program for showing our love and care for Mother Earth! To learn more, join us on April 23rd at 1:00pm when we host Julie Moore, an active volunteer with the NC Composting Council. She’ll share why and how to compost and take all your questions.
Please join us, and if you have any questions, contact Debbie Hall at or Cheryl Stevens at .
