As we become still and open our hearts\, we make room for compa ssion\, forgiveness\, understanding\, and peace. On this special day\, we will consciously allow love to move through us—not simply as an idea or fe eling\, but as a sacred presence we can embody and extend to the world.\nC ome be part of this powerful\, heart-centered experience of \;love\, p rayer\, global healing\, and inner peace.\n5:00pm Youth Participation\n\nF rom 5:00-7:00pm\, Shannon will offer children a special prayerful workbook to guide them in their own contemplative practice as part of this World D ay of Prayer. The YFM room will be open for childcare\, giving parents and caregivers an opportunity to participate in individual prayer vigil in th e Sanctuary.\n \;\nA Day of Prayer — 7:00am–7:00pm\nOn \;September 10\, World Day of Prayer\, we will begin the day with an \;all-day\, 12-hour prayer vigil from 7:00am to 7:00pm.\nYou are invited to participat e for a 30-minute or one-hour time slot\, either in our sanctuary\, which will be specially prepared as a sacred space for prayer and contemplation\ , or from the comfort of your own home. You may use this time in whatever way feels meaningful to you—through meditation\, silent prayer\, affirmati ons\, or simply resting in the awareness of Divine Love.\nA sign-up board is available in the foyer for those who would like to reserve a time in ou r sanctuary.\nSIGN UP HERE \;for the remote prayer vigil from home.\nI n the days leading up to our 12-hour prayer vigil\, we will also be collec ting the names of those whom you wish to hold in prayer. The evening service will pr ovide a sacred space to pause\, breathe\, reflect\, and open our hearts to the love that connects us all.\nThrough \;music\, meditation\, sacred readings\, prayer\, and shared intention\, we will weave together the man y prayers offered throughout the day. We will hold in our hearts the peopl e whose names have been placed on our Sacred Altar\, and all those through out the world who are longing for healing\, peace\, connection\, and hope. \nWe will also take time to consciously send our love beyond the walls of our sanctuary—to our families and communities\, to those experiencing hard ship or uncertainty\, and to our beautiful and often troubled world.
